Hello! Thank you for dropping by. I’m an Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist board certified and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

A little about me and how I hope to be able to serve you.

• I received my BS in biology from The University of Texas at Austin. I worked at a biotechnology company but working in a lab was not the best fit for me. I wanted to serve people’s needs.

• So I returned to The University of Texas at Austin in pursuance of a Master’s of Science in Nursing to become an Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist. Upon graduation, I worked with the geriatric population in skilled and long-term care.

• I saw firsthand the need for specialization in mental health within this population and returned to UT (I’m loyal) for a post-Masters in psychiatric mental health.

• I specialize in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders. I have experience in outpatient, inpatient, and private practice settings serving adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. I’ve witnessed through medication management how someone’s life can receive meaning and purpose once again.

• My goal is to collaborate with patients and to partner with qualified therapists by addressing the neurobiological component of mental health disorders.
